This software handles the many complexities of deploying clinical staff fairly and effectively in a challenging work environment. In your role you will:

• Lead end-to-end implementation of MedModus’ software with new healthcare customers.
• Provide product training and demonstrations.
• Partner with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and optimisation for existing customer deployments.
• Produce product documentation and help content.
• Translate customer needs into product requirements in collaboration with the product team.
• Analyse system usage and performance to deliver actionable insights to customers.

Your work will directly contribute to fairer, safer and more efficient deployment of healthcare staff.

MedModus™ is a leading healthcare business intelligence, data science and performance improvement company based in Dublin, Ireland. We provide comprehensive cloud-based business intelligence and software solutions to hospitals and other healthcare organisations. As a front-end developer with MedModus, you will work with us to improve the look and feel of our products, and how our customers interact with them.

You will be working with our research and development team, which includes a team of back-end developers, reporting directly to the CTO; who leads product design and architecture. Your role will be to develop existing and new applications that comprise our MedModus suite of applications.

You are a front-end software engineer with at least 3 years of working experience. You have a good knowledge of TypeScript, and software engineering, and are used to development in Microsoft Visual Studio on Microsoft Windows. Experience with .NET / MVC development is an advantage. Understanding cloud computing, BI concepts and healthcare are also a plus.

2. Short Description of Duties

• Play an instrumental role in the development of MedModus suite of applications
• Develop Decision Support Systems and scheduling solutions tailored to the healthcare sector
• Work closely with back-end system engineers, as well as the CTO, who acts as the lead architect

3. Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum three years of professional experience in front-end development
• 3rd level qualification in computer science, software engineering or related technical field
• A masters degree or equivalent in business, UI/UX or another related technical field is a plus
• Scrum certification is desirable

• TypeScript front-end developer used to working with Microsoft Visual Studio on Windows

• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures and framework usage

• Able to develop modern, good looking, responsive layouts with attention to detail

• Excellent analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal English

• Good documentation skills

• Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, XP) 

4. Preferred Experience
   The following technology is not essential, and you could learn it in the role, but having previous experience with any of these will be a plus:
   

• Background in user experience and interface design

• Previous experience in the healthcare sector

• Experience with cloud computing service platforms (e.g., Azure and / or AWS)

• Experience in developing progressive web applications and in modern UX design

• Experience with data visualisation libraries such as D3, C3 or High Chart

5. Reporting Lines

• Reporting to CTO
• Development is led by Snr Sofware Engineer

6. Location

• Based in Ireland, but working significant periods remotely.
