Healthcare Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst at MedModus™ you will work with large healthcare providers, helping them transform their data into meaningful information to drive improvement. You will use the latest business intelligence technologies to analyse performance in healthcare organisations. You will develop the project management and interpersonal skills needed to deliver sustainable change. This role reports into our CEO.

You are a college graduate with 6 years’ experience. You are an ambitious self-starter with an interest in business intelligence, data science and software. You are a programmatic thinker, an innovator and enjoy exploring new ideas and latest BI/data science technologies. You have good interpersonal skills, are confident in your ability and relish the rapid advancement and increased/varied responsibility that joining a growing early-stage company will bring.

  • Healthcare Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
  1. Short Description of Duties
  • Play an instrumental role in the delivery of business intelligence solutions in hospitals
  • Lead and manage BI projects from project start to project closure
  • Leading BI team of 2 to 3 analysts
  • Use the latest Microsoft (and other) BI technologies (e.g. Power BI, Visual Studio, Azure Analysis Services, SSMS, SSIS, SSRS)
  • Use querying languages such as SQL and DAX to perform dynamic aggregation of relational databases and tabular models
  • Develop Azure Analysis Services tabular models and develop ETL processes using SSIS packages and Azure Data Factory
  • Analyse operational and clinical information using variety of hospital information systems
  • Validate information with hospital doctors, nurses, clerical staff and management
  • Interpret hospital activity, waiting list and clinical trends
  • Identify areas of inefficiency and substandard performance and help hospital staff to deliver improvement
  • Develop operational and clinical dashboards (e.g. Power BI)
  • Analyse financial information and cost of hospital activities
  • Benchmark hospital performance against other locations and health systems
  1. Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 6 years’ experience in a similar role
  • 3rd level qualification in computer science, data analytics, engineering or related technical field
  • Excellent project management, report writing and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English essential
  • Programming experience (e.g. DAX, SQL, R, python, C# etc.) and comfortable with complex algorithms
  • At least 3 years’ experience with data models (e.g. Azure Analysis Services) and ETL tools (e.g. SSIS)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience of Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects or other business intelligence software
  • Excellent Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, functions) and comfortable using other Microsoft Office products
  1. Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector an advantage
  • Full clean Irish driving license
  1. Remuneration
  • Basic salary €55,000 to €70,000 per annum depending on experience.
  • Performance related bonus scheme.

Business Development Representative

Job Summary
As a Sales Representative with MedModus you will own the lead management process including qualifying inbound leads and performing outbound prospecting functions to drive new business. You will work collaboratively with the CEO, product owner and marketing to build an international sales pipeline.
You are a college graduate with a minimum of 2 years sales experience and enjoy selling. You are outgoing, highly results oriented and relish the opportunity of contributing to the international sales growth of a early stage technology company with a high value differentiated product offering.

Responsibilities
• Research and prospect target accounts. Identify key players and personas using internet research and social media monitoring/messaging.
• Develop and implement a lead generation process for MedModus using a combination of inbound and outbound methods.
• Build a pipeline of international sales opportunities for MedModus, achieving monthly sales targets.
• Make lead generation follow-up and cold calls.
• Set up and deliver product demonstrations.
• Help create and manage social media advertising campaigns and follow up on related leads.
• Track activity, pipeline growth and progress using the company’s HubSpot CRM software.
• Write and present customer proposals.
• Support customer retention, new feature requests, product development.
• Assist with sales of other MedModus products as required.

Essential Requirements
• 3rd level qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years full sales cycle experience in B2B (pref. Healthcare or SaaS. Ideally both.)
• Excellent written and verbal English essential.
• Fluency in other languages an advantage.
• Confident on the phone and in online meeting scenarios.
• Strong listening and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
• Aptitude for value-based selling.
• Hubspot CRM experience an advantage.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.

Remuneration and Benefits
• €40,000 basic with potential to double OTE based on commission.
